Facility is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to start as soon as credentialed. Willing to consider multiple providers.
- Dates of Coverage: As soon as credentialed - ongoing
- Schedule: 8a-5p hospital coverage and overnight pager call. Minimum 2 weeks per month is ideal.
- On Call Requirements: Night call
- Call Coverage: Yes
- Call Type: Beeper call
- Call Ratio: 1:2
- Average Amount of Call Back Hours: 1-2 times weekly for after hours procedures
- # of Providers Needed: multiple physicians. Anticipate utilizing 2 at any given time
- Reason for Coverage: potential coverage gap
- Practice Setting(s): Inpatient/Hospital based
- Leadership Position/Required to Teach: No
- Patient Population: 100% adult
- % Outpatient vs Inpatient: inpatient
- Average # of Patients Per Day: 10 cases/day weekdays; 6 cases per day weekends.
- Trauma Level Designation: Level 1 trauma, Thrombectomy-capable stroke center
- Required Duties, Procedures, Skills, etc: General IR + cerebral embolectomy (no aneurysm management). Moderate sedation.
- EMR/Documentation: Epic
- Additional Notes: Anticipate only Interventional radiology coverage (no diagnostic reads)
CREDENTIALING:
- Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days

Submission Requirements- Board Certified or BE within 5 years of residency - REQUIRED
- Fellowship - REQUIRED
- Active MN license - PREFERRED
- EPIC experience - PREFERRED
- Minimum two years of clinical practice experience required - REQUIRED
