Job description
Career Opportunity Program Manager with Found Village in Cincinnati, OH
Do you believe thoughtfully designed experiences can change a young persons life? Are you energized by developing teams, building strong systems, and creating opportunities where young people feel they belong and can thrive? If so, we want to speak with you.
Found Village is seeking a Program Manager to design, organize, and deliver purposeful youth programming and enrichment experiences that strengthen belonging, confidence, leadership, community, and opportunity. This role leads the Youth Experience Team and is accountable for programming quality, reliable delivery, repeatable processes, and team development, working closely with coaching, care management, and community partners. You will also take on hands-on programming and Program Coordinator work at the start to learn the role firsthand and strengthen the systems behind it.
Salary range: $75k - $85k; depending on knowledge and experience.
Benefits:
Competitive pay and 401(k) match.
Medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and other health-related benefit options.
Generous PTO, sick leave, holidays, and built-in self-care days.
Professional development funds and discounted YMCA membership.
Responsibilities:
Design and deliver creative youth workshops, leadership opportunities, career exploration, and community experiences aligned with the Found Village Developmental Framework, assessing gaps and sequencing to create a connected developmental journey.
Align programming with individual goals, coaching, and care management; involve youth in designing, planning, facilitating, evaluating, and leading experiences.
Lead the Youth Experience Team and supervise 2-3 staff, setting expectations, coaching, delegating, and ensuring quality and results while building capability, confidence, and ownership.
Develop repeatable processes, playbooks, calendars, templates, training resources, and communication standards, using tools such as Asana to support consistent program delivery.
Own planning, logistics, and communications; coordinating transportation, volunteers, and cross-functional partners through clear roles, timelines, and commitments.
Build partnerships with employers, colleges, artists, entrepreneurs, and community organizations to expand youth opportunities.
Improve programming through youth feedback, outcomes, organizational data, reflection, and emerging trends and community needs.
Perform hands-on programming and Program Coordinator duties initially while strengthening existing systems, then allocate ongoing duties as team capacity allows.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in social work, human services, education, psychology, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant professional experience; preferred.
At least 3 years in youth development, program coordination, nonprofit programming, or experiential learning, including program design and delivery and staff or volunteer leadership; required.
Experience supporting youth navigating child welfare or other complex service systems; preferred.
Proven supervision, coaching, and staff development with clear accountability for quality; experience coordinating volunteers and cross-functional partners without direct authority.
Ability to co-design youth experiences around developmental goals, with demonstrated improvements informed by youth input and evidence.
Strong facilitation, communication, relationship-building, and community partnership skills across ages and backgrounds.
Strong organization and project coordination across calendars, logistics, and priorities; experience building repeatable, documented processes.
Comfort balancing creativity, collaborative leadership, and disciplined follow-through in a growing organization.
Who thrives in this role:
You see programming as a developmental journey, not a series of isolated events, and you pair creativity with disciplined execution. You design experiences with young people, not simply for them, and keep refining them through feedback, data, and reflection.
You coach, delegate, and hold people accountable while building their capability and ownership. With a systems mindset, you turn recurring work into repeatable practices, take it on hands-on during the early build phase, and then hand it off to a capable team. You coordinate across teams and partners without relying on direct authority, and you learn existing work thoroughly before changing it.
Why Found Village?
Found Village believes every young person has strengths, potential, and a future worth investing in. The organization partners with families, schools, and community systems to surround teens with trusted, lasting relationships.
The goal is not for young people to depend on Found Village forever. It is for them to leave Found Village with greater confidence, stronger connections, and deeper belonging within a caring community that continues to walk alongside them.
Our values:
Boundless Hope: Every young person has strengths, potential, and a future worth investing in.
Courageous Love: We build strong relationships to encourage, challenge, confront, and remain present through difficult moments.
Safe Place, Safe People: We create emotionally and physically safe relationships built on trust, dignity, and belonging.
Collaborative Community: Young people are supported by an entire community, not just Found Village.
Spend It Well: We invest time where it creates lasting developmental impact and strengthens relationships that endure.
