ILOGICSOFT is recruiting an experienced Lead Software Engineer to build reliable, event-driven services.
Location: Chicago candidates are preferred. Remote candidates may also be considered.
Estimated duration: 12 months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, first shift
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop scalable notification services using Scala and Akka.
- Design and troubleshoot microservices and complex application components.
- Deliver reliable AWS solutions through CI/CD pipelines.
- Mentor engineers, improve code quality, and guide technical documentation.
- Coordinate integration and acceptance testing with technical and business teams.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience, or master's degree with 8+ years.
- 5+ years developing software with Java 8+.
- 3+ years of Scala and 2+ years of Akka, including Streams, Actors, HTTP or Persistence.
- AWS, microservices, CI/CD and strong computer-science fundamentals.
- Experience with high availability, Agile delivery, relational/NoSQL databases and technical leadership.
- Spring Boot APIs, functional programming, ZIO and reactive streaming are a plus.
