Onsite Little Rock, AR Temporary Contract

ILOGICSOFT is recruiting a Senior SQL DBA for an onsite opportunity. Only candidates currently local to the Little Rock area will be considered. Interviews are onsite only.
Estimated duration: 8 months Regular shift
Availability for 24-hour support is required.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install, upgrade, patch and maintain SQL Server environments, including SQL Server 2022 or later.
- Monitor database health, logs and scheduled jobs; tune T-SQL, indexes and ETL workloads.
- Manage security, auditing, encryption, storage and capacity planning.
- Maintain backups, point-in-time recovery, disaster recovery plans and high availability using Always On and Windows Failover Clustering.
- Build and support Windows Servers and AWS EC2 environments; automate administration with PowerShell.
- Support associated ASP.NET Web Forms applications and participate in design and code reviews.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 4 years of senior SQL DBA experience and 4 years administering SQL Server 2016 or later.
- At least 3 years of Windows Server administration experience.
- Hands-on SQL Server monitoring and troubleshooting, SQL Server Agent, Extended Events, security, backup/recovery and high availability.
- Experience supporting large, transaction-intensive databases and AWS storage/high-availability environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
GenTax/FAST application support, Active Directory, cloud backup, firewall administration and familiarity with PUB1075, FIPS and PII controls are preferred. Include your relevant certifications.
